The local host committee has Wednesday August 1st planned following optional tours and a golf tournament:
1. Fjord Cruise (4-4,5 hours) on the spectacular Lysefjorden
2. Bus trip in the oil capital of Norway - Stavanger
3. Bus trip to the major farming district in Norway - Jæren
4. Golf tournament at Bærheim golf course

After the closing ceremony it will be possible, for those who do not travel home immediately, to participate in following optional tours:

A hike to the famous Pulpit Rock The day after the Convent has finished the local committee have organised a hike to Pulpit Rock with a host from Rogaland Y's Men. Approximately 100,000 tourists take this hike every year. Walking shoes and good shape is necessary. A survey on the tour and the price is announced on our web site. You can register on this event in advance, or decide to join the hike during the Convention. |
